4th of July Themed Whoopie Pies

Though we barely stepped into May, we can’t forget that 4th of July is right around the corner! Two months will pass by like a breeze, and we won’t be ready for the celebrations if we don’t start preparing early!

I’m going to start our string of 4th of July holiday posts with a fun dessert recipe to make 4th of July whoopie pies (it even rhymes)! I don’t know about you, but whoopie pies are one of my favorite desserts. Turn it into a red velvet whoopie pie, and my love for it soars even higher. In today’s blog post, learn a quick trick to turn ordinary red velvet whoopie pies into 4th of July themed desserts!

Now that you have the red and white down, it’s time for some blue to complete the look. Roll the edge of the whoopie pie onto a plate of blue sprinkles (if you have star shaped sprinkles, even better)!
