Thanksgiving day is officially over! Though there are still 3 more days left of our Thanksgiving weekend holiday, many of us are already starting to think about Christmas. This is not to say Thanksgiving is any less important than Christmas, but we all know the Friday after Thanksgiving Thursday marks the day of Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
Many of you may have been lining up outside the department stores hours before the sunrise just to catch the latest and greatest deals for Christmas gifts, but I for one decided to skip the whole fiasco. I love shopping as much as the next person, but freezing my limbs off outside the electronics store for a markdown toaster oven was not how I imagined I would be spending my day off.
I am all about Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday is a sale continuation of Black Friday, happening the Monday following Thanksgiving to encourage shoppers to make online purchases. Now, what’s better than shopping in the comfort of your home! There’s no hassle of other chaotic shoppers and you get to stay inside and be warm and toasty.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Only 30 more days until Christmas!
